Winter sessions always come with a little uncertainty ❄️
Between the cold temperatures and the snow squalls we’ve been getting lately, this one could have gone either way. But on this day, the weather decided to cooperate just enough — and that was all we needed 🤍

It was freezing (no pretending otherwise 🥶), but we caught a calm pocket between storms, and it felt like a small gift. The kind that reminds you why you say yes anyway — even in winter.
Reghan’s kids were absolute champs ✨
Cold hands, chilly air, and not a single complaint. Levi made it very clear that he wanted ALL the photos with his mama — and honestly, that alone could have carried the entire session 💛 There’s something so grounding about watching a child gravitate toward their parent, like they instinctively know those are the moments that will matter most someday.

And Jack? 😌
An absolute natural in front of the camera. Confident, easygoing, and completely himself. The kind of kid who doesn’t need much direction — he just shows up and lets the moment unfold 📷

One of the biggest gifts of this session was their backyard 🌲
A beautiful, woodsy space that felt calm and organic — even in the middle of winter. Neutral tones, tall trees, and just enough texture to let the focus stay exactly where it belongs: on connection. It made photographing their family feel effortless, like the environment was working with us instead of against us 🤍

Even on the coldest days, sessions like this are the reason I love what I do ✨
There was so much laughter, warmth, and genuine connection packed into a freezing winter afternoon, and I soaked up every moment of it.
Winter family photos don’t have to feel stiff or rushed ❄️
They can still be relaxed, meaningful, and full of heart — especially when families show up exactly as they are 💛
I’m so grateful I got to document this season for Reghan and her kids. These are the moments that quietly become the most treasured ones 🤍
